Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept card payments. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.

We accept the following card payments: Amex, Maestro, MasterCard, Solo and Visa. Your card will be charged at the time of placing your order. If you do not wish to pay online, you may also make a payment by giving us your card information either by telephone, fax and post or by email. (We do not recommend sending your details by email, however if this was the only practical way, please make sure that your details are split into separate emails, for increased security.)

If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us and we will correct the mistake.

When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Shipping And Handling

Delivery
If we have an item in stock, your order will normally be despatched to you either on the same day if before 3pm UK time, or the next working day otherwise. Please be aware that due to the numerous options and variations we offer for most of our gear, we cannot stock all items in all available options, all of the time. As all our gear is handmade in the UK, it may take up to two weeks before your order is ready to be despatched. Once your order is ready we will notify you by email including a tracking code for your goods. Please note, International orders will be dealt with in the same manner but you should allow between 3 to 14 days for delivery. All counties have different delivery time table schedules and you should check for your country of origin for more details.

In most cases if we cannot complete your order within the time scales stated, we will endeavour to contact you by email or telephone to advise you on an expected completion date for your order to be despatched. For more information on delivery, please see our delivery page.

Delivery Service & Packaging Notes
We take every care when packaging all of our goods in the best possible way in order for them to arrive at their destination safely and without damage. However, we cannot guarantee the condition of any parcel or goods once they are in the hands of third party carrier services. In some circumstances, especially with bottled Aromas, these may not always make the transit without breakage; more so when shipped outside the UK. Make sure to always thoroughly inspect your order upon receipt. If you see any visible damage to the package, you should note in writing the nature of the damage alongside your signature. If the package was badly damaged, we recommend that you do not accept it and do not sign reception of the package. In all cases where a damaged package has been received, you should notify us in writing upon receipt. We shall endeavour to resolve or rectify the situation to your satisfaction.

You must inform us as soon as possible of any goods that are deemed lost or that are damaged in transit in order for us to make a prompt claim to the delivery company and for us to rectify the issue as soon as possible. Please always quote your name, delivery details and the order number in all correspondence to us.

You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.

You must inform us within two working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.

Back Orders

Most of our rubber range is made on order. We aim to ship most orders in less than 10 working days. However, if your particular order is expected to take longer we will inform you as soon as possible and you will always have the option to cancel your order should you not wish to wait. Please let us know if at any time before shipment you wish to cancel your order.

Tax Charges

20% Value Added Tax is included in the prices of goods delivered to the UK and to countries of the European Union. For all other destinations VAT/TAX is automatically deducted from the total order value at checkout. According to British regulations, VAT must be charged on post & packaging.

Credit Card Security

We accept Credit Card and Debit Card payments, via a secure online payment page after you have submitted your order. We do not see or hold your credit card details. These details are required by our online merchant bank and we only receive payment status confirmation from them. Your details are encrypted by 128-bit industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to provide encryption of personal information such as your name, address and credit card details. This way your payment details are secure at all times.

Alternative Payment Methods
You can also place an order and request to pay over the phone by selecting the 'Telephone Order' payment option at checkout. Once you have submitted your order, you can either call us during our opening times (Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm) to provide us with your payment details over the phone, or you can request that we call you back. (Please use the box marked 'Additional information' at the end of the checkout page to do this.)

We always try to be as discrete as possible, but please let us know if you require extra discretion from us in your additional information. You may place an order by mail, by posting a letter including the items or products you wish to purchase, along with the sizes and the quantities. Give us your name and address details and enclose a cheque or postal order, for the full total including shipping. (We can advise you on the cost if in doubt, simply contact us for advice.)

Exchange Policy
If you are not sure of which size to order, please ask a friend to take your measurements (please see our measuring sheet) and have a look at our size chart. Our measurements are based on a Taylor's standards and may differ from other standard items of clothing.

In all cases, if an item does not fit you, simply return it to us unworn and in a resalable condition, to the address below and we will exchange it for a different size for free. We recommend you to send your item back through a service requiring a signature on delivery, as we do not accept responsibility for lost items. Remember to write down YOUR ORDER NUMBER and send us your instructions for the exchange. For international orders you MUST clearly write "RETURNED GOODS" on your packet to avoid duty charges and delays at UK Customs.

Please note that any 'Made to Measure' items where a customer has supplied their own measurements, cannot be exchanged. However we will try our best to help you if there are any problems and it is at all possible.

Devote Clothing Ltd do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Returns Policy

Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.

You are entitled to cancel your order within 7 working days (Cooling off Period) of placing your order.

If you have purchased your goods online or by phone, you are also entitled to a full refund including the delivery cost, providing you inform us in writing within 7 days after receiving your goods.To cancel an order or for refunds, you may contact us first by email or telephone quoting the order number.

Any goods returned must be in a resalable condition. You are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning any goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value, always use a delivery method that is signed for to make sure your goods are received back with us. For international orders you MUST clearly write "RETURNED GOODS" on your packet to avoid duties and delays at UK Customs.

Refunds will be made within 28 days of notification to us and only once we are in receipt of returned goods.

Please note that any 'Made to Measure' items where a customer has supplied their own measurements and purchased online or by phone cannot be refunded.

Also any items that are sold as and are deemed to be for a personal nature i.e. Dildo's, Medical and Novelty Toys, are not returnable, unless they are supplied in a sealed packaging and they must remain sealed and unused for health & safety reasons.

This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault, for example, if the goods are faulty or wrongly described.
